Philippine Aquatics Expresses Gratitude to the Provincial Government of Aklan for Its Strong Support of the 4th Southeast Asia Open Water Swimming Championships

Philippine Aquatics extends its sincere appreciation to the Provincial Government of Aklan for its unwavering support and invaluable partnership in the preparations for the upcoming 4th Southeast Asia Open Water Swimming Championships, which will be hosted in the world-renowned island of Boracay.

A coordination meeting was led by Philippine Aquatics Secretary General Eric Buhain and Vice President Jojo Quilop, together with Aklan Governor Jose Enrique "Joen" M. Miraflores and MJ Jizmundo of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO). The meeting reaffirmed the collective commitment of both Philippine Aquatics and the Provincial Government of Aklan to ensuring the successful staging of the prestigious international competition.

Also present during the meeting were Dr. Karl Lachica and former Congresswoman Eileen Ermita-Buhain, whose continued support and commitment to the advancement of Philippine sports and aquatic development contribute significantly to the successful hosting of the championship.
