About Philippine Aquatics
Who we are
Philippine Aquatics Inc. (PAI) is the National Governing Body for the sport of Aquatics in the Philippines. It is the only recognized National Federation by the World Aquatics (WA) which is the world governing body for our sport. PAI is also the only recognized National Sports Association for Aquatics by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC).
Under the PAI are the six (6) disciplines of our sport which are swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, open water swimming, and high diving.
It is our responsibility to promote the culture of all six disciples by creating opportunities for all Filipino athletes and coaches from all the seventeen (17) Regions of the archipelago, through healthy competitions and educational programs starting from the local level, through the regional level, up to the national and international level, by organizing swimming teams whether they maybe school-based or club-based.
Our membership is open to all Filipinos regardless of age and ability, as well as coaches, technical officials, and volunteers.
Philippine Aquatics Inc. is also responsible in identifying and selecting members of the national team for international competitions including the Olympic Games, following the guidelines set forth by the World Aquatics and the International Olympic Committee.

- · Create a healthy relationship with the Private Sector in order to support the plans and programs of PAI for all its member athletes, coaches, and teams
- · Bring aquatics down to the local level by partnering with the local government units and national government agencies in educational programs and competitions
- · Ensure inclusivity in the sport of aquatics by ensuring the active participation of public school student athletes, persons with disabilities and out-of-school youths in all levels of educational programs and competitions
